| An example of our sea glass finish. This is shown
on the champagne glass #891-61. The piece on the left is the standard,
shiny finish. The piece on the right has been given the unique sea glass
finish. This is a process
of blasting the glass under high pressure with a very fine silicon
carbide abrasive which imparts a silky and sumptuous texture to the
glass itself. We find that the more
opaque and figured glasses (such as the ambers and champagne) look
better than the clear glasses with this treatment, but the choice is
yours.
Each sample is about two inches square. The sea glass finish is
available on any of our glasses for a $5 upcharge per sconce. |
