Randall Whitehead

     Renowned lighting designer and author Randall Whitehead is one of the nation’s most well-known lighting gurus. His firm, Randall Whitehead Lighting Inc., is located in San Francisco For projects with a limited lighting budget, Whitehead looks for fixtures that offer a lot of bang for the buck, like the Phoenix wall sconce by Derek Marshall.
     “We’ve found that the decorative fixtures are often the last thing to get selected, so the budget is more slim,” he explained. “We worked with a client in San Francisco who had a Marina-style house with curved walls. They spent so much money on remodeling that they had very little budget left for lights. The client wanted the Italian murano glass look, so we chose the Phoenix wall sconce in a beautiful confetti finish. We’ve found that these fixtures are exteremly well-priced and beautifully made.”
