The Athena sconce has deco overtones with classic style. The hammered texture is emphasized with the gold leaf finish, illustrated here. It is also available in many other finishes including silver leaf, copper leaf, verdigris, wrought iron and various combinations. Copper is treated with a special acid to induce a greater aged effect with colors of green and green/blue overlaying some visible copper. Again, this is a natural and somewhat random effect, one of the virtues of the acid finish. |
