| The Kyoto wall
sconce (F411) depicts a group of freely modeled sections of bamboo with
correct botanical detail. This is an up-down light which has a very
dramatic effect in interior settings.
Pure copper leaf has been lightly washed with a special acid to effect several years of outdoor exposure, bringing a rustic and warm quality. Colors range from light copper to gold with hints of reds and browns. As with all acid finishes, the results always vary from piece to piece, a natural consequence of the process, and one of its true charms. As always, consider developing something unusual with our help. No charge for this development work, of course. Other finishes, including lacquers, mixed metal leaf, verdigris, rusty iron, silver vermeil and custom finishes are always available, usually with no upcharge. Delivery times are typically two to four weeks. |
