Worn gold leaf on a contrasting ground is one of our most popular finishes. In this case, the ground is a Chinese red lacquer, lending an Asian aura of antiquity. This light fixture is a  fitting addition to any interior setting with a finish of incomparable quality and effect.  Here we have applied gold leaf on top of a red lacquer ground and carefully remove the leaf on the highpoints. This lends a wonderfully rich character to the piece. No two will ever be exactly the same.
