| The Rainier is a small sconce with a strong
and dramatic form, certain to be a focus in any interior setting. The
highly textured surround has strongly sculpted facets. This sconce was
awarded the Progress Award from Illuminating
Engineering Society of North America (IES) in 2001.
This Rainier wall sconce projects a white opal, kiln-formed glass lens. The textured surround is finished in gold leaf which we then wear off the high points to reveal the black lacquer ground beneath. Only Derek Marshall lighting offers hand applied finishes like this. |
