| The Sylph
is molded from a variety of American art glasses. The form is highly
sculptural with a subtle use of flats and angles in the overall form.
The sconce is mounted with two polished brushed chrome hemispheres which attach the sconce to the wall by means of an adjustable welded steel bracket. The sconce is designed to float effortlessly off the wall allowing a light bleed all the way around which emphasizes this affect. "Sylph" is a name of a set of mythical creatures of the air. |
