| Fused glass adds
another dimension to the Sushi sconce. A black, iridescent abstract pattern
which we call a river motif, is fused to the base white wispy glass.
These patterns will vary very slightly from sconce to sconce as all are cut
free-hand. The iridescent glass itself is opaque. The iridescent
finish on the black glass will vary from gold to green and red, again in a
random fashion. A minimalist sconce, Sushi has a pleasant asymmetry which can be used to advantage. Made from kiln-formed American art glass, there are only two small screw heads visible on each side. Available in three styles, a twist to the left, to the right, and untwisted. The Sushi sconce can be ordered in
a left hand version, a right hand version shown here or a
straight cut version. Please specify when ordering. A matched pair would
consist of a right and a left sconce for a paired application, for
instance.

Here is a detail of the iridescent fused glass. When the glass is lit, the iridescent color will be very subtle.
